"I have CCWs for 37 states, just took the class at Public Safety Institute for CA CCW and this course is BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVR HAD. 

I'm taking more training with them because these gentlemen are top notch. I'm bringing my sisters, their friends, my friends, told others about it. 

....Also the value you get for the price is unbelievable. 

The instructors are TOP NOTCH, patient, helpful, experienced, thoughtful and I could go on and on but running out of space. 

California CCW program should be proud to have companies like this doing training, it makes the experience worthwhile, and you also appreciate someone treating you with such CARE. 

In this economy I don't get very much service for my dollar but here I felt like their service was above and beyond! received more than expected!

"If you’re serious about carrying a firearm and want a Concealed Carry class that goes beyond checking a box—this is the one to take, it was one of the most valuable and empowering training experiences I’ve ever had.

What made this class stand out was how practical and scenario-driven it was. It wasn’t just sitting in a classroom—we spent real time on our feet learning how to draw from concealment, move under pressure, maintain situational awareness, and make fast, responsible decisions under stress.

The range portion was top-tier. Martin and Rafael gave personal attention to each student, helping improve accuracy, build confidence, and correct any bad habits in real time. Safety was always the #1 priority, but they never lost sight of the need for real-world readiness.

"Took a CCW class for LASD with them and I have to say, it was 10000% better than another school in Burbank I took 2 years ago…Mr. Martin and staff have a lot of knowledge to pass on and made the class fun…they answered all our questions with professionalism and showed us some new insights on defensive shooting… If you want to actually learn how to draw from the holster and shoot, I highly recommend these guys for your training needs. But if you just want to pay the money and leave like the shady one, I mentioned in Burbank, keep on looking….."

"If you are on the fence of choosing a reliable CCW training provider, no need to worry with the Public Safety Institute. Kyle, Dennis and Martin are outstanding instructors 10/10! Since the beginning, they were attentive, responsive and willing to answer any questions. The class structure, material and training is awesome. I took my first CCW course with them and can’t imagine taking it elsewhere. They set the standard for others to emulate. The course itself isn’t just death by PowerPoint, it’s informational, hands on, and scenario driven. Doing live fire at an outdoor range is a plus". Will come back for my renewal!
